DeepStripper Quickstart

Deepstripper will export from a DPS12 or DPS16 backup CD and produce separate .wav files for each track.

Using Easy CD Creator 4 to get DeepStripper readable data:

Put the CD in your CD-ROM. Then open EZ CD Creator, choosing the audio window.

On the left side of the screen, single click on the letter for your CD-ROM

(which I guess is "E"). Don't double click on it, because you don't want to

actually open the CD. Then, under the menus at the top, click on the "CD" menu

and select "CD Information". A window will open showing your backup projects.

Select one and then click on "read track". Another window opens that allows you

to choose what to name it and where to save the track.

Using Nero 5 to get DeepStripper readable data:

You can use Nero to create an "nrg" file that the deepstripper will read.

Click on "CD recorder" then "Save tracks". Choose "PCM wave files" as the

"Audio file format" and save the file.

Reading data with DeepStripper:

Once you have the ISO (or NRG) file

created, open up deepstripper and import the ISO file into it. Once you see the

window with all of the tracks of the ISO file, click on the minus sign next to the

word "tracks" to reduce all the individual tracks, leaving just the word "tracks"

with a plus sign next to it. Click on the word "tracks" to highlight it, and then

right-click on it to turn the tracks into wave files. In the window that pops up,

click on "select all" and then "export". Note the path that your destination

wav files will take (a folder named "output" will be created) and you are done.
